Sleep in Princess Diana’s home for £175k
Fans of Princess Diana can fork out £175,000 to stay in her Althorp childhood home for the weekend.
Guests will be able to sleep in the late princess’ old bedroom at the Althorp estate in Northamptonshire, central England, but it will set a party of up to 18 back around £175,000, while a couple will have to fork out around £25,000 for the weekend.
The home is owned by Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, and his wife, Countess Karen Spencer, came up with the idea of letting the 90-room mansion out to raise money for her charity Whole Child International.

World Milk Day June 1st
World Milk Day is a day established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations to recognise the importance of milk as a global food. It has been observed on June 1st each year since 2001. The day is intended to provide an opportunity to bring attention to activities that are connected with the milk industry.
Why do we have a ‘Milk Day’?
It started about 15 years back when United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization decided to celebrate ‘World Milk Day’ on June 1. This was around the time that many countries were celebrating their National Milk Days.
It is celebrated to increase common public awareness about the usefulness of milk and milk products, its nutritional value and economic importance.
Jaya DA case: Hearing to resume in SC Today
The Supreme Court will continue its hearing in the J Jayalalithaa disproportionate assets case today. The Bench comprising Justices P C Ghose and Amitava Roy will convene a special sitting on Tuesday and arguments are likely to end today.

Tamil Nadu Schools to reopen today
After Summer holidays, Students, who will back to school today, will be welcomed not just with upgraded facilities, but also with a new set of rules aimed at their safety and well-being.
In a circular from Director of education Tamil Nadu, if students are found using mobile phones, the equipment should be confiscated and be returned only to their parents/guardians with a strict warning.
Also, a ban on footboard travelling and on rooftops will be implemented from this academic year. He elaborated that the defaulters will be warned for the first time, and if continues, action would be taken.
The State government plans to distribute textbooks and uniforms among the students today.
